Hooper and Becchio Set to Sign

Hooper and Becchio Set to Sign
We now expect at least one of either Gary Hooper or Luciano Becchio to sign before the transfer deadline tomorrow night.

Apparently there is a deal to be done with Celtic despite them wanting to hang on to hitman-Hooper until the end of the season. Hooper has again refused to sign a new contract and Celtic know that he could be at the peak of his value now. It`s thought a bid of £6m could secure the former Scunthorpe man.

Transfer listed Luciano Becchio, 29, has scored 19 goals this season and is set to join former team mates Jonny Howson and Robert Snodgrass at Carrow Road.

Steve Morison is set to move to Leeds subject to agreeing terms and undergoing a medical.

Amazingly, it`s being reported that somehow we have convinced Leeds to pay us £1m and give us Becchio to secure the services of Steve Morison. If the fee is indeed true, it would be a remarkable piece of business by all at Carrow Road.

In another development, The Mirror have reported that Birmingham City have rejected our £1m offer for Curtis Davies, but we are expected to go in with another bid.

Read somewhere it was Morison and £3.5m for Becchio, which is ridiculous. This is far more sensible though I'd still like Hooper or Wolfswinkle too...am I just greedy 😜
