Norwich City vs West Ham Preview

Following the impressive 1-1 draw at Spurs a fortnight ago, Chris Hughton is poised to name an unchanged Norwich side when West Ham visit Carrow Road tomorrow.

The inclusion of Barnett, Bassong and Garrido alongside stalwart Russell Martin has looked very solid in the last couple of games, giving Hughton little reason to tinker. Martin has recovered from the injury that kept him out of the Scotland side.

In midfield, the 'Leeds 3` of Snodgrass, Howson and Johnson, along with Pilkington on the left dominated the game against Spurs. Although there is possibly more to come from Howson, it would be a surprise if Hughton saw the need to change things whilst the chemistry between the players continues to grow.

Up front, Holt looks a definite starter, whilst Simeon Jackson and Steve Morison both had punishing schedules representing their countries over the last week.

If Hughton decides to freshen things up, he may turn to either Chris Martin or Harry Kane alongside Holt, or potentially he could bring Wes Hoolahan in to play just behind the big man. Hoolahan has so far been restricted to 13 minutes against Fulham and a League cup run out against Scunthorpe. It would be a surprise if Hughton deviated from the 4-4-2 that worked well in the previous two games however.

West Ham will be without Andy Carroll who suffered a hamstring injury against Fulham, with Carlton Cole expecting to deputise. West Ham will also be looking to new signings Matt Jarvis, Yossi Benayoun and James Collins to provide impetus following Carroll`s injury.
