Transfer Deadline Round Up (live)

In:
Mark Bunn (£1m) from Blackburn

Out:
Tom Adeyemi (loan till Jan) to Brentford
George Francomb (One month loan) to AFC Wimbledon

30th August:

13:00 Rumours are also gathering pace that City have put in a bid for one-time Lambert target Craig Mackail-Smith.

The striker scored 10 goals last season in his debut season for Brighton after joining them for £2.5m in the summer. It is thought that a similar amount would prise him away from Brighton before the deadline.

16:00 Hughton reiterates that he expects Korey Smith, George Francomb and at least one of the young goalkeepers to leave on loan next week.

31st August - Deadline Day:

09.30 National media reports suggest that Brighton have rejected a City bid of £3m for CMS. Is he worth any more than that?

10:30 City linked with a move for Dundee United star Johnny Russell.

11:00 Paul Lambert on the phone to McNally asking for his job back as he realises City have a bigger budget than Villa.

11:25 A couple of rumours - City linked with Congelese Anderlecht Striker, Dieumerci Mbokani. 15 goals in 30 apps.
Also Leon Barnett to Birmingham on loan - after last Sat we don't want to lose Leon, do we?

15:30 George Francomb has joined League Two side AFC Wimbledon on a 1 month loan deal

15:40 Hughton says he will be "going for the win tomorrow" against the club he spent the best part of 28 years at.

16:00 Rumours (twitter rumours) that Morison has rejected a loan move to Nottingham Forest.

18:30 A few more rumours circulating as 11pm approaches - Talk Sport have City making enquiries for both Carlton Cole and Cameron Jerome - neither of whom are exactly prolific.
Other completely unsubstantiated rumours on tinternet have us linked with a "shock" (it sure would be) move for Miroslav Klose, as well as making bids for Jay Bothroyd and Rickie Lambert. And the madness continues...

18:39 Jay Bothroyd has just signed on loan for Sheffield Wednesday. You can't trust the tinternet, can you?!

01:00 City have announced the loan signing of Spurs' England U19 striker, Harry Kane.
Norwich were granted a time extension to let the deal go through - this has come from no-where but at least we have another striker onboard.
