Jasper's Gems - Weekend Roundup

Having trawled the gossip columns this weekend, it could well be a busy week at Carrow Road, with rumours of as many as four signings over the next few days. Who could they be?

1)Jacob Butterfield was spotted having a medical at Colney on Friday and has said that there will be an announcement about his future today. Reading and Newcastle have dropped out of the race, meaning this one looks highly likely.

2) Curtis Davis is being heavily linked, and thought to be available for a fee of around £2.5m. Hughton is a huge fan of the U21 cap, and he would add good competition for places at the back.

3) Nathan Redmond - this one is a little less likely, as the 2nd Birmingham City signing (as understood) could well be Chris Burke. However, Redmond is one that has huge potential, and what better place for an exciting young winger to come?

4) A little more of a wildcard, but with Hughton's track record of signing players from the French league, attacking midfielder Romain Hamouma has been linked. Hamouma plays for relegated Caen and is a former team mate of one time canaries target Thomas Heurtaux.

OR Another foreign wildcard we've allegedly had a look at is Nigerian left-back Elderson, who plays for Braga in Portugal. We need a left back, but would we take a gamble like this?
