GRAHAM Dorrans completed a permanent switch to Norwich City in the summer of 2015, after impressing during a loan spell from West Bromwich Albion.

Born in Glasgow, he grew up supporting Rangers, the club where he spent his junior years prior to joining Livingston aged 13.

A teammate of Wes Hoolahan`s at Livi, Dorrans, who also progressed through their Academy at the same time as ex-City winger Robert Snodgrass, made his debut as a substitute against Kilmarnock in May 2005.

A short loan move to Partick Thistle the following season gave him the valuable match experience that would enable him to fit regularly into the first-team picture back at his parent club.

Eighty appearances and two seasons later, the cultured playmaker attracted the attention of West Brom manager Tony Mowbray, who swooped to sign him for an initial £100,000 in the summer of 2008.

He earned plaudits for his debut as a second-half substitute in a 2-1 win over Manchester City, and went on to play 11 times that campaign as the West Midlands club were relegated from the top-flight.

His exceptional performances the following year saw his reputation increase rapidly and he returned to the Premier League as a Scotland international in 2010.

After spending the subsequent seasons as a top-flight regular, he initially joined the Canaries on loan in February 2015.

A fresh deal was struck to keep the midfielder at Carrow Road for the remainder of the campaign, and he played a key role as City returned to the top-flight with a play-off final victory at Wembley.

Having scored three times in 15 league appearances, Dorrans made his stay in permanent in the wake of that success, bringing to an end his six-and-a-half year association with West Brom - who he represented a total of 189 times.
