Pen Pic

The best way to describe Johnno is as a "tough" opponent.

He is strong in the tackle and runs all day, a player that coach Gary Holt will see a lot of his old self in.

He likes a shot from distance and is useful in the penalty area at corners as an aerial threat.

Mostly used as a holding midfield player and once famously described by Paul Lambert, who brought him to the club on a free from Leeds, as being "a bit nasty."

Scorer of exquisite chips and hammer time free kicks, also likes a beard.
