City travel to the Reebok this afternoon to face Bolton still looking for their first win of the season.
Bolton got off to a flying start by smashing QPR 4-0 at Loftus Road on the opening day, but have gone pointless since - although defeats to Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United are hardly signs of a crisis.
Paul Lambert told canaries.co.uk yesterday: 'It's not going to be an easy game.
'It wouldn't have been easy if their previous results had been different, but they've played against the two Manchester Clubs, who everybody is expecting to challenge for the Championship and Champions League, and also played against a vibrant Liverpool side.
'It's been really hard, but Owen has done brilliant up there and I'm looking forward to seeing him tomorrow.'
Bolton boss Owen Coyle on City's start to the season (official site):
'Last week I watched the game and they were really unfortunate losing at home to West Brom. I think the only thing that has actually gone against Norwich so far is the results. We have to make sure that that happens again on Saturday and we look to take all the points.
'There's no doubt that Paul Lambert has built a terrific team and their fans are vocal and colourful. It all makes for a great atmosphere. We have to make sure that we look to win that game. But Norwich will be a handful for anybody, there's no doubt about that.'
Gael Kakuta, David N'Gog and Tuncay are all likely to play for Bolton after featuring for the reserves against Arsenal midweek, but the game will come too soon for midfielder Stuart Holden, who is still recovering form a knee injury.
Always seems to be the Premier League's most-fouled player, and goes down easier than...well, he goes over a lot. With four penalties conceded in four games, Davies will be licking his lips.
James Vaughan has been declared fit despite needing stitches following a whack from West Brom's Gabriel Tamas on Sunday.
Central defensive trio Zak Whitbread, Elliott Ward and Daniel Ayala are all out injured so Leon Barnett is again expected to partner Ritchie De Laet.
John Ruddy returns to the squad following suspension, and Anthony Pilkington has recovered from a back problem so could feature.
City fans have been falling over each other to demand Hoolahan is recalled to the starting eleven, and all eyes will be on the Irishman if he gets his chance.
