Hi everyone.

I'm 25, originally from Doncaster but now live in London. But I'm a Canaries fan haha. Long story.

Posted a thread already about meeting a few fans to maybe go to a few games with, have a few beers etc.

Cheers

Dan

Hi All

I've been living in Asia for the last 13 years or so and how I miss both Norwich and Carrow Road. Was born just up the road from there and my Dad used to take me up to Black Tower which overlooked the River end - you could see about a third of the pitch and make out the Barclay end goal. Started going regularly in '86 and first home game was vs Everton. Won 1-0. I stood in the River End with my sister, but the Barclay pulled me in. Next home game and just about every one thereafter was up there until I left in 1992. They were magic days. Stand out memories are when Robert Rosario came back from injury and scored a belter in the 4-4 vs. Southampton. The Barclay went absolutely mental "Rosy is Back, Rosy is back woo woo". Taking my mum to a dull 0-0 vs QPR and her joining in the banter with "the referee's a W*****". My last game was vs Forest, I think the first Sky game when I sat for the first time in the Barclay...couldn't believe there were dancing girls and fireworks before the KO. We won 3-1 if I remember rightly.

Felt compelled to joining Vital Norwich as the live updates are brilliant. I now live in Buckinghamshire so my brother has my season ticket.

Hi - Foxes Fan come in peace... I'm sure based on our current (abysmal) form you'll have no problems against us in the forthcoming game. Just wanted to say hello really. :)

Also, I wondered if anyone can give me some suggestions where to park on that Tues evening? I'll be coming straight from work but I'm going to be pushed for time, so can't really afford to faff around for ages trying to find somewhere. I'll be coming from the A11 / Southern Bypass. And, yes, I do know Norwich pretty well so a point in the general direction should do. I was thinking of the Riverside multistorey, but does that fill up early for midweek games?

Mods: sorry if this is the wrong place to discuss this - feel free to move to somewhere else if you want. ;)

I would park at County Hall car park . Join the By Pass and travel towards Gt Yarmouth and come off at the A146 towrds the city. After you pass County Hall on your left turn left at the roundabout into the car park . You will need to have £4 handy to pay at the gate !!

county hall car park is the easiest and biggest mate. It still have cars arriving an hour before kick off, so you should be ok.

Then just follow the crowd.

Ah, ok - thanks for the replies. I wasn't sure if County Hall would be open for an evening game but if it is that suits me just fine.

open every match mate. Mind the effers are charging 4 quid to park.

Should be a good game from two teams that play football the right way..........and not the millwall HOOF way.

Hello everyone. My name's Matt and I'm a student, Norwich born and bred. I've been a Norwich fan since the age of six, so that's well over ten years now and I can't even begin to imagine why I would want to support any other team. I'm not a season ticket holder this year since I have other commitments but I still attend Carrow Road regularly. My username stems from what was of course the original nickname for the club back when it was founded. Looking forward to chatting with you all on these forums and it looks a friendly place.
Cheers.
