Brand new fan here from the Pacific Northwest USA. Been a big international football fan the past several years and have started to really enjoy the EPL. I've been looking for a team to follow and I had a chance to see Norwich play in Portland last month and now I'm hooked. Just got my Canaries jacket in the mail today. Hope to someday see a game at Carrow Road. Go Canaries!

Jari which Sunderland away match did you go to?

I think it was O'Neill's second match in charge. Campbell scored a half volley from 30 yards into the top corner and I knew it probably wasn't going to be our night. Ended 3-0 Sunderland.

Hello from Pennsylvania, USA. I am a relatively new football fan as I got into the BPL last year when the NHL was on strike. I have taken to Norwich City as the fan base are rabid and I love an underdog. Rooting for ManU, ManCity or Chelsea is too easy. My mother was born and bred in Scotland so I have an affinity for the Scottish players but anyone who helps us win is fine in my book!

Pretty much everything I know is through Football Manager..haha. Expect a lot of silly comments but I am doing my best to learn so please hang in there with me as I increase my knowledge of the game.

Not sure what else to say besides go NC! Once my 5 year old gets a bit older we plan to make a trip to London and I already told my wife I would like to plan a trip to see the Canaries play if possible. I am a huge motorsport fan and love the Isle of Man TT but my favorite event is Le Mans. Sports car racing is my favorite by a long shot.

Anyway, I have babbled on enough..I look forward to watching the team and chatting with you all.

Hi all,
Another new member and a lifelong city fan from 1959, Moved to Sheffield with NU in 2000 so its been mostly away games for me.
Went to the Panathaniakos game and was worried, went to the Hull game and was sick, when will we learn to pass the ball and move quicker. Things can only get better.

welcome Sheffield.
I would welcome games in Sheffield as it is a great city with good traditional grounds but for time being it looks like we will not be playing there.
agreed things can only get better.

Hello everyone, I'm one of Marc's friends from Oklahoma, and one of the new fans that NBC has targeted to try PL again after FOX's less than stellar effort. My knowledge of English football is limited, but it seems to me that NBC is trying to make the uninitiated American fan into a "T-shirt fan" of one of the Big 6 which seems all sorts of disingenuous to me.

Although I registered as a Canaries fan, I'm still sorting out who I want to root for. I want my choice to be from the heart, and not from who's the trendiest. From watching a few games online so far, I've liked NC, Swansea, Everton, West Ham, and Cardiff City. I've watched WBA, Stoke, Hull, Sunderland, Fulham, Newcastle, SH, and AV matches, but just haven't felt much from them. Crystal is a nice club, but I have a feeling their heading back down after this season.

Anyway, I look forward to chatting you all up on the matches this season; and apologies in advance if I ask a few obvious questions.

Steve

Hi Mixer, without a doubt Norwich City is an amazing club to follow, never boring. Why support a so called top 6 team when you can support us and really feel the passion of winning and losing in my opinion. It gets a little boring if you win most your games and cups. To win we have to really earn it as we do not have as big of a transfer budget as many big clubs in England so it means so much more to us.

Stop thinking about it, your on our forum you have already made your mind up! welcome new Norwich City fan!
