A very good win considering recent results! Really pleased with that. Scored two and kept a clean sheet. Should be a bit a confidence booster for our players that one, great stuff.

Yep a lot of positives to take . Very pleased with Lewis getting a start. He needs to remain in the first 11 now. Can then also use Stiepperman in his actual position.

Well even I am impressed with my season's STATS thus far. I went today fully expecting to see a defeat but thus far I have clocked up.....

3 away wins (Sheff U, Reading and Birmingham)
1 away draw (Fulham)
1 home draw (Hull with Oli's 96th minute equaliser)
1 home win (Sheff Wed)

14 points out of a possible 18.

Sorry to disappoint but I am not going to Burton away!!

Did we play well Sminks or were Brum crap. After we beat Sheffield Wed I thought 'good result and now we can go on a run' but it was more the fact Sheff W were poor than we were good.

I am pleased we won and scored two and kept a clean sheet but could be another false dawn.

I think the fact Tettey and Trybull were in and we had an actual left back playing helped.

The worry for me is if Lewis, Teabag or Trybull get injured we back in crap again.

Sminks how did Lewis play?

Birmingham were very poor and, as I said to friends on phone, perhaps we are a measure of how poor they really are. If we took our chances, we could have won by a larger margin. Having said that you can only beat what is put in front of you and we did. We were by far the better team and yes, Lewis put in a good show. There is still a tendency to pass sideways, backwards and slow things down when running at them may have got the job done quicker. Birmingham look like a team on the way down. Fortunately there are worse teams than us too.

We need to win the next two and only then will be on the way back upwards . As great as yesterday’s win was , I am very aware of what Norwich can do just after they have built your hopes up !

Would you guys say that was our best 11 yesterday? Also from the highlights, it looked like Pritchard was on fire and controlled the show and that we were all over them and could/should have won by at least 4.
