So DF confirms that Pinto is fit after picking up a hamstring injury:

'Ivo Pinto is available. I was concerned because he's had some problems but it's developed pretty well'

Husband is out and has an ongoing issue (like most of our players):

'James Husband had a pain-killing injection in the groin, couldn't train early in the week, Brentford game just too soon for him.'

Lewis is fit but DF doesn't want to play him much over festive period - Pardon???? He is fit, you have no actual LB at the moment, your current LB is a midfielder and has been the issue in conceding goals, you have been raving about Lewis, yet you don't want to risk him???? WHY?

Jerome is injured so we are down to one forward. Jerome has a back injury. he has a slipped disc and will miss tomorrow.

Wes is out after picking up a hip injury in training.

DF creaming himself over Naismith saying he is a leader and top player: but then seems to say that he is where he is at Norwich because of injury and his form.

'He's a real leader in our group but he's not been able to train with the team much. It's not easy when you're out for several weeks or months. He has been in training for ten days. He's an unbelievable professional and was in brilliant shape in pre-season.'

DF says he sat with Naismith and had a chat:

'I had an honest chat with Naismith this week but I couldn't promise him game time due to four months out but he is '100pc' in contention to play. We have agreed if there is the chance for him to go out and get those games elsewhere, it can happen. For me though I'm really pleased that he is back in team training but there are lots of competition in attacking positions.'

DF admits that they wouldn't dismiss any Jan interest in Naismith but says the player is not pressing to leave the club.

Please sell don't loan unless they give us lots of money. See DF says again we have lots of attacking options -no new forwards guys.

The thing is DF says that he is under no financial constraints to sell Naismith and don't need to move him on? So do we have any money or not? You'd think you'd need to sell a player on his wages and if we can get cash then do it.

DF says that players on high wages don't mean you have to play ----- aimed at Nasmith.

'Wages have no bearing on who I pick. It’s all about the football, and that alone. Likewise, I've had no pressure on me to not play or help move Naismith on.'

On the independent article about players annoyed with training DF says:

'I have only just been made aware of it. There have been no arguments with players and I believes in working hard - what you put in you get out. It's a gift to work in football & for that you have to work hard if not then why bother. We had the double session this week and when this is too much for pro players, we'll just meet for the game, go have lots of Xmas drinks instead. I can't imagine there is another team on this level that has this atmosphere in the dressing room, this togetherness.'

Well, put if players get upset with double sessions then fuck off and do my job and I'll do yours!

For some reason, I imagine temper boy Oliveira would be annoyed by it

DF says the boys are ready to stop another poor run:

'We are confident because we have this feeling that in general, we are in good shape.'

Good shape hmmm few injuries Mr Farke. Also, a bit Hughtonish saying Leeds and Cardiff were always going to be hard games as they are top sides.....unlike us.

DF also says the next 4 games aren't going to be easy and not buying that they need to be all wins.

'The Championship is so competitive, all teams are capable of beating others home or away. The Championship is so close together. If we have a good performance and put in 100 percent focus, we are capable of beating top teams.'

So we have to be at 100% to beat sides - other teams can beat us with around 60%.

So DF is happy with the 11 that played against Leeds and thinks they did brilliantly and doesn't see any need to change it tomorrow. He is tempted to play Trybull and Tettey but doesn't see the need.

Now I think that shows his inexperience as a manager - always play your best 11 and especially if the current 11 have only won 1 in months.

He loves Vrancic doesn't he:

'Vrancic & Reed have been really really solid, in recent weeks & Vrancic has started to find some momentum. Difficult decision but no need to change it'

He says that with two away games coming up he will have to make a few changes in next games.

Funny how DF says that our defence concedes an average of 1 goal a game and that is an improvement from Millwall. 1 goal a game Mr Farke is poor when your side can't score 1 let alone 2!!!

DF confirms Matthews is going out on loan, he was happy to keep Franke but loan is good for him. He says that Raggett will be back with Norwich in January.

Pritchard says he is still not 100% fit but needs must and he wants to play. So some players are too important to leave out then.

Pritchard has a dig at AN and his training:

'Last year we weren't fit at all. We conceded far too many late goals in games. we needed to do more and we are doing more now.'

He says he doesn't know where the report of mutiny has come from but from what he sees the players around him were understanding of the double sessions.

Pritchard says that we have to beat Brentford because of the poor run we are on. A draw tomorrow wouldn't be acceptable:

'the poor run we are on, we just have to beat Brentford. A Draw is not good enough. We need points from this run now. It is that simple'

Pritchard says he still loves Brentford. He also says he loves playing over this period.

Wes, Jarvis, Thompson, Martin, Jerome, Husband all out

I think DF will go with the same again:

Gunn

Pinto
Klose
Hanley
Stiepermann

Reed
Vrancic

Pritchard
Maddison
Watkins

Oliviera

We have no other forwards so Oli can have another shit one and get all upset and no worry as we have no one to replace you --- oh we do have three younger players but we won't give them a go.

I would go:

Gunn

Pinto
Klose
Hanley
Lewis

Trybull
Tettey

Wildchut
Maddison
Pritchard

Oli

Subs:

McGovern - Stiepermann - Zimmermann - Reed - Abrahams - Murphy - Watkins

That attacking line up looks dangerous to me.

DF will have to change it on the bench as Wes and Jerome both out so I can see Lewis coming in on the bench and even maybe Naismith.

With Nelson only fit striker there has to be youth on bench.
Watkins is not a striker.

The same side that lost to leeds.

Tettey and Trybull on the bench - no forwards on the bench!

No pace in that 11 is there? Probably only Pinto who has some. Also no out and out wingers.

Hucks says that AN was right for letting Canos go. He showed nothing during his 6 months and wasn't great at training.

Watkins giving away silly fouls.

Brentford playing lovely football - RN saying that is how we should play but can't. Hucks says we just mess it up all the time. Brentford quick in the pass and attack - Norwich slow in the pass and no attack.

Our third forward couldn't score. it was on the line!

Oli misses a chance and then Klose headers it onto the post.
