Random quote: “It sounds stupid, but I took four pay cuts. Every time a new contact came round I took a cut to stay here, obviously my agent was not happy at all.” Hucks showing footballers how it is done.

No. Most other clubs are owned by rich people with sharp business attitudes
not a failed cook who has not got a clue.

Do you guys think DF ever gets pissed off?

He always sounds like a substitute teacher (not much confidence and talking rubbish that bores me) on interviews.

DF saying that today was one of the best away performances he has seen?

Bears I agree with most of what you have said but what is a substitute teacher!!?

As you guys know I went to the game last night
You don’t need me to repeat the obvious
The absence of a striker will be our downfall and if it carries on we will be in a relegation battle without doubt
Therefore another couple of repeat performances then surely DFs job must be looked at
Forest were a poor side and were there for the taking but then how many times have we said that this season ?

Too many times Suffolk.

Losing to Sunderland, Bolton, Forest, Millwall and drawing with Bristol, Burton Hull, Barnsley.
Cannot win them all but 4 points from these 8 games is relegation form.

1 point from the last 15 on offer . It had better turn around mighty quickly otherwise we are heading for League One

We could be the best supported club in Div 1...I would definately put £100 on us to get promotion.

a substitute teacher is someone who covers your regular teacher if they are off.

We would normally get a lovely young Australian teacher who wasn't boring but lacked confidence or we would end up with some guy who couldn't hold a lesson, had no plan b if the lesson wasn't going well and was so boring....like DF.

I understand it is difficult at the moment with having Tettey-Trybull (only one game), Thompson, Oli (just back), Pritchard, Lewis, Naismith (not a miss), Husband all out but in a way going with a smaller squad was always going to be an issue. Also the fact that you can't seem to understand that an away to Burton and a home game to Fulham will be different and you need to make sure players are ready. If you can't see that we need a new forward then it is your fault and if you think we can keep going 4-2-3-1 then you are very deluded my friend.

DF seems to go into every game with the same thought 'keep possession, pass the ball around and then try to get a goal, then sit back and frustrate until we get the win.' but you can't do that in every bloody match. Against a Sheffield utd, it worked but then against a Derby it doesn't.

Like I said during that unbeaten run we weren't smashing side or winning comfortably - we scrapped and were uncomfortable.

For me last night 5-3-2 would have been great - in fact maybe you were right as we were frustrating them but we could put the ball in the net. Murphy seems reluctant to help the defence when he is on too.

We have the small squad and because of injuries we are even thinner but DF, like AN before him, is trying to put square pegs into Circular holes. Wes on the right - Vrancic in central midfield - Watkins on the left - Stiepermann as an LB etc.

Why not get the other players into the squad - Phillips - Cantwell -
Mourgos - Middleton - as has been mentioned. Godfrey for me should have never been loaned out as he could cover RB and CM.

Other clubs do it they throw in their u23/youth players in when the situation calls for it. Why have them if you won't use them - the current bunch aren't doing it so why not try.

Very well reasoned Bears , and it makes you wonder if Farke is heading down the same inflexible route as the horrendous Rab and Hopeless . I really want Farke to succeed, but he is testing everybody's patience to the limit

Sorry Bears. I was being facetious when I posted that. I knew what you meant but I would use term "supply teacher". Many many years ago after returning to teaching after baby Sminkys were old enough, I endured the "substitute" teacher role. I hated it as you were often chucked into the "unknown" with little prep.....sound familiar!? Fortunately I survived that and now know exactly what I am doing with my own tuition business.

I am heading west to Dublin on Friday for weekend so will miss all the hysteronics but my brother will be at game and update me.
