I think I am right in saying we have a good record against Barnsley at Carrow Rd and score a fair few against them....up step our free-scoring side.

Also, Watkins will return to his old side as will McGeehan.

It is annoying that Barnsley replaced Watkins with two players in Barnes who is a midfielder and has scored more than our two forwards (Jerome and Watkins) put together and Bradshaw who has been putting the ball in the back of the net 8 goals this season.

And their manager made 16 appearances for us!
He`s rumoured to be Sunderlands main Target.

DF said that it looks like the issue has been solved regarding Oli and he has looked good in training.

Tettey he hopes will be back in team training after the Cardiff game, so won't see him until December

Pritchard is back in team training now though. Farke doesn't expect to have him available for first team for a couple of weeks. May get Monday's U23 team. Still deciding

On Pritchard, DF said:

'Sometimes (players) they are like a wild dog and you just have to let them play.'

The side is getting fit.

Naismith has picked up another injury - I am getting the feeling he isn't up for this.

Jerome had picked up a foot injury but should be okay to play.......and herein lies our issue with not wanting a new forward - tomorrow we are looking at two forwards who have just had injuries and could have both missed out.

Bad news Maddison has picked up a knock (hamstring) from internationals and looks like he will miss out tomorrow - DF says it will be a last minute decision.

DF says on better news Jamal Lewis will return to training from a pre-season knee injury after Cardiff game.

DF says that tomorrow Norwich needs to start being more brutal in front of goal and need to start putting the ball in the net - --- don't play Jeorme then!

How did Jer1me injury his foot ?
Clearly not be kicking ball towards goal.
Maybe he dropped his mobile on it when police stopped him in his car

Apparently, he got kicked on his foot in training - Maybe it has been so long since he actually hit a ball that when he actually connected with the ball it damaged his foot?

Pritchard will play for the u23s on Monday - great news can't wait for him to return.

I would go:

Gunn

Pinto (c)
Klose
Hanley
Husband

Trybull
Stiepermann

Wildschut
Wes
Murphy

Oli

Subs:

McGovern - Reed - Watkins - Zimmermann - Vrancic - Cantwell - Franke

If Maddison isn't fit then get Wes in.

If Oli is fit then he has to play.

Why not try Stiepermann in the central role instead of Reed. For me, Reed and Trybull haven't been working so let's give it to Stiepermann who is very much a defensive player.

If Maddison is fit then, of course, play him.

Get Martin and Jerome away from the squad. Martin away from the side we don't lose.

I still think DF will go:

Gunn

Pinto
Klose
Zimmermann
Stiepermann

Reed
Trybull

Murphy
Wes (Maddison if fit)
Watkins

Jerome
