Now then .......here is a problem . The new players who have come in are on an average wage of £10,000 a week and the remaining wasters and losers of the last 2 distastrous seasons are on an average of £20,000 a week , and rumours have it that the atrocious Jerome is on £30,000 a week . So how does a Stieperman or a Trybull feel when are are trying hard , and have to watch the non scoring Jerome missing chances and failing to do the job that he is paid up to THREE times more than them to do ?
Is it any wonder that we have got problems ? . How would you feel if you were faced with that situation at work ?

It is also funny how RN and pink un have all been saying 'this season don't expect much and look for a mid table finish and look to next season' to which most if not all of us have been saying that isn't right as we will have no money next season and it will be harder. Well balls has come out and and said no promotion will cause lots of problems.

How is it that clubs who have never been or have been out of premiership are surviving or not having massive issues? Is it because they don't have wasters on massive wages? Why don't we start adding a wage reduction onto contracts if relegated or not promoted that will get some players playing better.

I am certain that wage structure exists anyway, and from what I can ascertain we are not a club to pay highly for sure, 30k sounds an awful lot to earn but in todays game its Low even in the Championship top clubs...which incidently were are supposedly one of!

Fulhams Scott Parker was on 75k Week
Shelvey at Newcastle is on 80k week

Villa have players on 60-80k week

Maybe pay them all £10,000 a week , take it or leave it , and just pay them a bonus if they actually put the skill and effort in and actually win a game !

A win or goal bonus would work well for smiffs at moment as they would save a fortune.

I see Teabag is lining himself up a summer move back to Rosenberg . He is probably well aware of the approaching financial situation and as one of the big earners knows we will be going . Can't see him putting much effort in when he returns from injury if his heart is already somewhere else

BB ......I think you will proved absolutely right . Big earner Klose will also have to go

I still fail to understand any fans who are looking forward to next 2 windows as they will result
in us having a league 1 squad.

Nothing will happen in the January window ( already stated by Farke and Webber) , and all that will happen in the summer is the big earners going and 2nd rate players coming in . We may well be joining the BInners in a mighty long stay in this league . I expect our joint owners will be delighted with that prospect

could turn into the rat days and we will have loads of loans at the club.

Maybe the board are thinking 'Hey, we got relegated before and it worked wonders so lets do it again'

Do the joint owners have a burning passion to see us in the Premier League , or are they possibly more concerned in passing their cosy 'social club ' to Tom the Cabin Boy as a nice little legacy ?

And the money continues to be poured away........

Nobody will want Jerome, Jarvis etc. given their wage levels.
Glad to see some have finally realised this.

Merry Xmas!

Looks like we might struggle to hold onto Godfrey. We loaned him out and yet Prem clubs want him. I bet he will probably play in their first team squads too.

He has impressed whilst on loan and is close to getting an England U20 call up.

He has only signed a new deal in summer so we will be in the driving seat with any deals. I think he should be back here and pushing for the first team.

Southampton, Swansea City and West Brom are the teams apparently linked with him.
