So Naismith still not fit. Oli will miss the game. Tettey out.

Seems that Nelson will be out for a long while. Two weeks after the international break apparently. He has to see his dentist with regards to mouth problem.

Wildschut is okay and will be fit for tomorrow.

So maybe we will not buy a new forward in January as DF has said Morris has a callback option in January and could be recalled as has Godfrey.

Lincoln wants to play Raggett in the FA Cup but that would mean he couldn't play for us in the competition this season....shouldn't matter as we won't get past 3rd round.

'We have discussed Sean Raggett playing in the FA Cup for Lincoln this weekend but there is no solution yet. We will be deciding soon.'

DF is very proud of Maddison but says he isn't happy about his new haircut

Something that has worried me is this - DF says he has no issues with our forward line and will not be looking at a new forward in Jan!!!!

He was asked if any more injuries upfront would that force your hand to bring someone in and he said no! WOW so if Jerome gets injured he will just be happy with Watkins - that is a real worry.

DF said that he wants to give Maddison a break - do we think he will be dropped tomorrow for Wes?

'To be honest, I’ve thought that James Maddison needs a break, It’s his first season in the Championship and he’s played a lot of minutes. He’s so important, but you can see he’s tired. But he has a brilliant attitude, and he can create special moments even if he’s tired. We have to find the right balance with his load now, but I don’t think it’ll be a problem to have him on the pitch tomorrow.'

Sounds like he might play but I wouldn't be surprised if Wes was in his place tomorrow.

I like how DF says he has had some important players out injured - Watkins, Oli, Naismtih, Zimmermann, Tettey but doesn't mention Jarvis or Martin.....or Lewis.

I would go:

Gunn

Pinto
Klose
Zimmermann
Stiepermann

Reed
Trybull

Wildschut
Maddison
Murphy

Jerome

I think DF will go

Gunn

Klose
Zimmermann
Hanley

Pinto
Stiepermann

Wildschut
Reed
Trybull

Maddison

Jerome

5-3-1-1 or 3-2-3-1-1

I too am worried to hear that DF is now stating he is happy with his non existent front line . Hardly the fighting talk that will drive us into the Premier League .

With Jerome up front we will do well to get nil.

So Paddy D on the pink un says he is a bit concerned that DF doesn't see an issue with forwards and he said that he asked DF if he will make any signings up top if they get more injuries and his response was 'no, I am not thinking of any new players up front and we will go with what we have until the end of the season'.

That is a worry.

Paddy said that DF seems to be seeing Naismith as an option up top too

Paddy says he sees the same issues with Norwich now that we had back again Millwall and Villa. Can't defend set pieces, look fragile at the back. He says the worrying thing is if a team scores the players all know that our forwards and attacking players can't score 1 let alone 2 at the moment.

I am concerned that DF thinks are the front line is okay.

Paddy said that the club has no money at all for january - are we the only club to never have money. Paddy said that if we want to buy we have to sell first. Can I ask did we spend all the Murphy, Howson, Rudd, Dorrans money?

Also, both Bailey and Paddy said they can't see us winning tomorrow as our players are just so tired and will not be able to deal with a strong Bolton.

Why are we the only side to be tired?

We have gone from unbeaten and hard to beat to now thinking 'ah we can't beat Bolton'

He can’t come out in a press conference and say we’re after a striker because all selling clubs will hear that and add another £2-3 million onto the asking price and price is out of the deal - when was the last time you heard a manager come out and detail all his transfer plans? Never!

As for the game - confident we’ll get a win personally.

I wonder if the 'tired' Jerome was docked wages for his inability to play on Tuesday night ?

We have a good recent record against Bolton yet not many feel sure we can beat them . After watching the half hearted effort on Tuesday night , I am not sure we can beat them either

I have heard managers come out and say that they will need to look at it in a window - sure he doesn't want to get clubs upping the price but to flat out say he isn't going to look at it is in my eyes a bit silly and in my eyes make him look silly.

Everyone who supports Norwich knows we need forwards and I am sure other clubs will be able to see it without Mr Farke saying I need a forward when they look at our GD and goals per game.

He could have said yes it might be something I will look at in the window or that he might look to the loan market for a forward (that then gets rid of any high price etc).

Funny that he said he wants a small group to work with yet the signs are in this league you need a bigger squad.

I Know once Pritchard, Tettey, Lewis (Thompson (out long term I know) are all back the squad will be stronger and bigger but we still need that forward.

Just a shame that Jarvis and Naismith aren't the players they once were. Hopefully, we can move on in January but doubtful. and I can't see us selling Jerome now as we need him and Ii am sure his stock has fallen.

Selling the totally useless Jerome , Jarvis , Naismith and Martin would probably save the club about £100,000 + A WEEK in wages , Then we could buy 2 strikers and be rid of these 4 pieces of deadwood

I still maintain that Naismith will come good!

Jerome and Martins one way ticket to anywhere can gladly be charged to me however!
