Random quote: “It sounds stupid, but I took four pay cuts. Every time a new contact came round I took a cut to stay here, obviously my agent was not happy at all.” Hucks showing footballers how it is done.

I’d settle for one of our young strikers on the bench at this moment in time

So DF confirms that Oli will defo miss tomorrow and might be okay for Bolton. He has a calf strain.

Pinto is also a doubt for tomorrow as he took a knock and couldn't walk. DF said that he is a tough guy so should be okay......I bloody hope so as we will be down to Martin.

DF said he wants to give Jerome a rest too at some point.......but DF we have no forwards so what will you do play Wes up front on his own? You need to sort this out in January. He says that Jerome is tired and needs a break asap.

Naismith and Pritchard will both be in full training after the international break.

DF has said that the squad is small and the players are so tired and need a rest - I hope these aren't excuses for a poor run.

'Some of the guys are tired. For our offensive players to be creative they have to be fresh. They've had such a heavy load.'

On Hanley DF said something interesting:

'He is particularly important if we decide to play three at the back. It is 100 percent an option for Tuesday'

DF says that Hanley is a brilliant character in the dressing room.

DF not at all concerned with the home form:

'It is not a concern. In general, we cannot deny away stats are better than home. It's little coincidences. in all 5 games at home, we were the better team. Away games were 1-0s etc, close games. We now have to work on the topic of scoring goals and creating more chances. But we've also had a lot of injuries and some bad luck. We had some bad luck, you think about the last two games and normally they are penalties for sure. We have not been clinical enough or brutal enough at home but we are working on it a lot in training, we just can't replicate those key moments in training though. I'm pretty sure we will improve these situations.'

On tomorrow's game:

He has also admitted that we are underdogs tomorrow but the lads will give it their all.

'We will be rebellious and competitive in pursuit of win against Wolves, will be greedy for points and determination to get the win. Wolves have high-quality, experienced players. It's a big task, but we will be greedy to win and fight for points.'

DF then says that he would have played Hanley tomorrow but after Zimmermann's mistake he wants to give him another go.

DF says he wants to keep Gunn at the club if he can.

Stiepermann talking - and this one is for you to read Jerome:

'We have to do more to score goals. We do create enough chances, we have to take our chances.
The First goal is so important in the Championship.'

So are we going to see a 3-2-4-1tomorrow?

Will Pinto miss out and Martin come in
Will Vrancic come in for Maddison or Murphy
Will Wildschut come in for Murphy
Will Hanley play

Our best striker gets injury after injury , the other striker has scored ONE goal since last Easter, we have a minus goal difference and have won just twice at home this season . There is no excuse for this mess . The management knew we would be playing in two cup competitions this season before the season started , The management knew we would get injuries and suspensions .Excuses of tiredness dont wash with me .What I would like to hear is a plan of action from the club of how we are going to get back into the Premier League

Over to you DF, Webber and the silent , unambitious Board

The thing is we have youngsters like Middleton, Abraham, Fonkeu (spelling) who could play upfront and have been scoring for u23 why not give them a go from the bench other clubs seem to be able to do it?

Abrahams is a raw 18 year old ......he is nowhere near ready to play for us.

Middleton is fast but small and if he had played against Derby he would have been "kicked up in the air" a number of times.

Come on people please get realistic about our young kids.

Oliveira's injury run reminds me of Mike Sheron's hamstring.

After Mike Sheron got transferred up north, he didn't have a hamstring problem.

So in your eye, the kids aren't ready? Funny how other clubs can play their youth. Sheffield Utd an example with David Brooks he is only 5'7 and looks lightweight and is doing a good job. I am realistic and I was just offering it out there but it is okay we can just go with Jerome over and over.

A raw talented 18 year old is defo what we don't need!?

Middleton isn't that small at 5'10 but if that is small then the reason of being small hasn't stopped Wes and I am not comparing them in terms of quality just saying that using someone's height isn't the best reason not to play someone. I don't see what he can do about his height that won't change much. If he would have been kicked at that is good as he would be frustrating them. I just don't see when some people think it is right to play youngsters - most championship matches will have this type of style.

Maddison could be seen as lightweight too.

Totally agree Bears.
If those youngsters had been played they could do no worse than 1 goal in 900 minutes.

Youngsters are screaming out to prove themselves. Can't score many less goals. I noticed how determined they all were even in the U23 games. Just give the hungry guys some minutes. Do we really have a lot to lose. We didn't get any points on Saturday at home so maybe resting the older guys may help our future.

Despite getting rid of most of the losers in the summer , we have stll got donkeys Jerome , Jarvis , Martin and Naismith on huge wages and bleeding the club dry . The four of them have contributed nothing this season and none of them have got the passion , hunger , drive and determination we need . Added to that I remember DF declaring at the start of the season how happy he was with his strike force . It is high time that Jerome started scoring the goals that he is paid handsomely to deliver and pay back the faith that DF had shown in him (unwisely IMO)
