I've lost patience with Jerome now
What the hell he was absolutely useless today
Put one of the youngsters on the bench Tuesday

Fuck me Jerome is shite. No defence is scared of him and he just adds nothing and when we need a goal to get a win we have absolutely no one on the bench who can is a forward who has something different.

Both our forwards (Watkins hmm) were on the pitch and it seems that Jerome can't play with another forward.

These few games with Jerome have hopefully shown Webber and df that he is crap and is at best 4th choice and we need new forwards.

Jerome doesn't even look interested.

I think we had one shot at goal . It was pathetic but Bristol did their job

Jerome is an utter disgrace . Get him out of the club and buy a proper striker . I never want to see him wear our shirt again

We should've won that - disallowed goal, which wasn't offside, Stiepermann missed basically an open goal, Vrancic hit the post and one cleared off the line.

Must be more clinical at home

Good that the defence was solid again though

I am away in hotel room..got my laptop here....Anyone got a link for live feed

FFL. You can't get live feeds for Championship matches. I have tried all season.

Are you abroad in Europe? If you are, you could have paid 6 euros on ifollow to watch it live but there is no commentary...at least there wasn't when I watched AV away.....waste of money that one!

Not sure you've missed much, though NCFC seem to have missed their fair share this afternoon.......same old story with 10 or so minutes to go.

Cheers for info, were in Brighton for the weekend our wedding anniversary No 34...I watched the match sort of on Bet 365 it was better than nothing I suppose.

We have known for a long time that we needed a more prolific striker.
All other decent teams appear to have a least one.

We have an injury prone goal scorer, a striker who cannot score or effectively play on
his own up front and a midfielder who can just about do a job.
Agreed Suffolk. It has already cost us 4 points and it will continue to cost us more.

Correct me if I'm wrong
But we are left with Abraham and Fonkeu
That's unforgivable and should not have happened

We fans have been saying for 2 and half YEARS that we need a prolific striker , and the refusal of the club and various managers to buy one has cost us (1) our PRECIOUS Premier League place at a cost of £160m , (2) a failure to go up last season , at a cost of £120m ,(3) is now starting to cost us with a failure to go up this season at a cost of £160m.

How can any fan be happy with this dire striker situation ? Not many by what I witnessed yesterday with many empty seats in the ground and fans leaving unhappily before the final whistle knowing that the pathetic Jerome was never going to score .

Wake up now NCFC and bring in the firepower we so desparately need

Agreed 100% YB. I honestly believe the club are using this season as a stop gap to give Farke a year to know the league and develop the squad over a longer time. It's the only reason I can think of that why when it was so obvious we were lacking that they decided it'll do for now. I think they will probably use January to do a bit more of the work and then get the remaining majority of the work done next summer with a view to give it a go next year.

Whilst I can totally understand that after the shambles previous management was allowed to leave us in it is going to take at least a few windows to repair, I just think it's a big risk because we won't be having any extra money coming into the club next year meaning it'll only get a more difficult task. I guess we asked for change and we've got it so just time to sit it out now and hope it works out.

January will hopefully see the new forward/s come in but could be too late for this season. I just get a bit sick of us going for central midfielders and attacking midfielders. let's go get strikers whose job it is to score and let's go get forwards who are not all lumps and hold up the ball.

The thing I couldn't understand:

Why was Wildschut dropped and not Jerome? You think right he isn't playing against Brentford in the cup as he will play on Saturday. Then Jerome has in my view another poor game against Sheffield U and is dropped for Watkins in the cup who has a decent game then for the game yesterday he brings in Watkins after his decent game but at right midfield and keeps Jerome? It seems Watkins is seen as a right winger for the league and a forward for the cup.

What other clubs would have no forwards on the bench for a home game? not one.

Just strange that Watkins is sold to us as a forward then after playing well is put in the side but one the wing? why not play him instead of Jerome?

It also annoys me that Sheffield Utd plays their youth forward today even though Sharp is back. Would we play a Middleton or Abraham? I guarantee if either of those scored 6 goals in two games etc they wouldn't play or be on the bench. When we were in need of a goal husband comes on a LB. Just annoying
