RN going on about 4 points and clean sheets but these are two home games and as CA saying this is Burton and Brum which should be expected to win.

3 Away games from next 4 we will see how we are then

I am off to bed. terrible game and highlights that we still have work to do and for me still don't have that special player.

Olilooks to be injured now, which we all knew would happen at some point and we will have to go with him.

When Wildschut and Maddison came on we looked better - earlier might have made a difference.

RN 'The subs made a difference...Wildschut caused problems with his pace. Maddison was tricky and passed it about'

No mention of Jerome.

Sheffield Utd up next not easy

On the plus side - Tettey didn't get booked for a change.

Very disappointed
Probably the easiest home match of the season
2 points dropped no disguising it...
That is NOT play off form

DF hasn't spoken to a physio about Oli's groin and doesn't know the situation?

I like how he said 'I want Oli on the pitch if he isn't playing well or has a knock as he can always score'.....Cameron Your boss would rather an injured or off form player than you.

Agreed, SC as I said to YB it seems that the club and media are saying it's a season of consolidation and have to look for a mid-table season.

What other club goes into a season lowering their expectations and investing in a new reign saying 'ah just forget about playoffs and going up' Next season we have no parachute payments and will mean less money???? I just don't understand.

The club will probably think 'Murphy, Oliveira, Klose and Pritchard will bring in some money for the wine cupboard'.

Leaving subs with 13 minutes to go was very ANish. No idea why he leaves it late?

Ollyrules - 11/9/2017 14:27

DF just had his news conference where he said he wants to keep the starting team as similar to Saturday as possible - but acknowledged that someone like Tettey struggles to play two games so close together

I'd imagine based off his press conference that Reed for Tettey will be a change. I would also like to see Wes for Trybull as I don't think we need two DMs against Burton at home and will need Wes's ability to break them down (they will undoubtedly stick 10 behind the ball)

I hate to say I told you so...but two DMs at home against Burton was never going to work.

The fact Farke left it until the 70th minute to change it was baffling. Hughton-esque

Even despite that - how Murphy and Nelson both missed those glorious chances I will never know - have to be more clinical!

Only positive is we seem to have finally sorted the defence out.

I'm going to Sheffield on Saturday - need a big improvement and better performance

That charade tonight goes down as one of the worst performances I have watched not only from the players but the officials also, they were total shite!

To add insult to injury it started to pee it down as we left the ground so soaked on way back to my car.

I am not gonna single players out but it was a poor display from them all, not one comes out of tonights game with any plus points, our manager is really starting to worry me!.!

Terrible.

His refusal to change things until it was too late was a managers classical mistake . I thought Farke was more smart than that , but obviously is not . i know what Lambert would have done !

Webbers and Farkes glaring mistake in refusing to buy a striker is now laid bare for all to see

Talking of AN, PNE beat top-of-the-table Cardiff 3-0.

What?!

I don't think I could bear the thought of AN taking PNE to the premiership after CH does it with Brighton. Last night was very Hughtonesq. The same players we had Saturday looked disinterested and it was so obvious to see that a change was needed for the second half and the after watching a further 15 minutes we kept seeing player after player running the line to keep warm and still no substitutions. Absolutely bizarre. I know it's early days but I am actually worried that we may get relegated again. There are many many better sides that we still have to play yet. incidently, I am always in the lower tier River End and the crowd were trying their best to encourage a lackluster team which should be commended.
