Not recruit the man but we need to use his tactic of tightening up at the back and grind out at least a point a game while we rebuild confidence. This means:

1. Get rid of the useless zonal marking NOW.

2. Put a strong physical bod alongside Reed - Stiepermann (spelling?) or Tettey. Dont forget that we tried to sign 6' 2" Bonier to play as a defensive midfield player.

3. Get the jogging Windmill (Russell Martin) out of our defence ASAP. What the hell does he add? He brings no leadership to the team and at the moment we need a leader in the back row. It is utterly appalling that he was given an extension of his contract. I hope he is not going to coach any of youngsters in the future as I wouldnt want them to learn the Windmill!

4. Regardless of how the team is playing we need to get behind the team. They need their confidence lifting.

Totally agree.
The hierarchy still treat the club like a looking after the boys set up and
are not cut throat enough to remove managers or players in time.

Embarrassing to say the least when an ex player of ours reckons we are to nice and not physical enough
I've said for a long time we need to toughen up
Let's hope Grant H brings that leadership

The problem is that the only players who are any good and still for sale will be at a price we will not pay.

Good to see points 2 (Trybull and Tettey) and 3 (no Windmill in the team) of my post implemented. We need to do more re point 4.

Glad to see he didnt try Wes again on the right after the Burton game where he kept moving inside. One sheet needs a run on the right flank to see if he is the answer.

No Windmill = no goals conceeded.
