The main difference between them and us is Dean Holye , who has 'moved mountains ' and invested large sums to get Town where they are today . Their manager , staff , players and fans have all bought into the vision for Huddersfield that is Hoyles passion . Compare that to our silent pensioner owners who hate the Premier League and thought a manager like Rab should stay for 10 years . Compare the measured inspired and considerable investment in their team in their effort to retain their precious place in the Premier League , compared to our puny effort of keeping failed players who went and cheaply relegated us . It will take alot more than Daniel Farke for us to follow in the footsteps of Huddersfield Town

Totally agree YB.
Its all about vision with funding to match and the smiffs are more interested
in hanging on to the club for selfish personal reasons regardless of the damage,
than selling up to someone who can achieve a premier league goal.

Injuries to certain players haven't helped as DF has been forced to bring in players that he wouldn't nessersarily have done i.e. Zimmerman
However there are issues that haven't and should have been addressed
Another CB should have been a priority and I think they pinned their hopes on Leistner only to be thwarted but I still think this will be sorted,Husband looks a poor signing and it remains what will happen there,
We should have had that extra striker but as I've said before this won't happen as DF expects everyone to contribute
Prichard was a huge huge loss that we could have done without
So expect a new CB in the next few days...

No worries SC ! I will keep the faith . I like Farke , Webber and the set up we now have. I remain convinced as the new team and players settle in , we will do well , but maybe not this season , but I can accept that .
BUT .... to 'do a Huddersfield' , we will all need to be together . Farke now needs to get the fans onside , and stop trying to be clever( see the recent thread starter) with rotation and apparent preference for using aging failures . EVERY single fan I have spoken to , listened to and read comments from , was appalled by his team selection on Saturday . He needs to learn quickly that failures will just keep on failing us ...and even more so as they age .
We need leadership and inspiration from our owners and Board , but sadly we are not getting it . I hardly call booking a table in the tacky and overcrowded Crabtree for a few of our fans who were in there after the Fulham game inspired leadership . Mick Dennis might think its great , but I do not .
We need the players onside and buying into the 'dream' ( if we have one ) , and not alienating them as inferior players are picked over them for the sake of a gimmicky squad rotation , that so far , hasnt worked .
We fans screamed our heads off at Fulham and at home to QPR , only to be rewarded with seeing the old failure trash trotted out against Sunderland and Villa , and sure enough , they lost
We all need to be together with passion , hunger , fight , skill , togetherness ,and utter determination to get our Prem place back . Hands up any Board members . NC staff , players and fans who have got those essential requirements for success . When we all have attributes THEN we will go up

As you rightly say when you compare what Dean Hoyle has done at Huddersfield and our static sad imitation of a board
You can see how Webber and Farkes hands are tied,I just hope they are in it for the long haul because we will get it right...
