It was a disappointing performance today - you can definitely tell it's a team that will take time to gel, which is to be expected when you bring in 9 new players and get rid of loads. I was however worried by how easily Vaughan bullied Zimmermann today, that shouldn't be happening.

I think the formation would have worked if Jerome/Watkins weren't abysmal. Every time the ball went forward , either Jerome mid controlled or Watkins was just easily brushed off it.

I thought Reed/Maddison played well and looked good.

A shame, but like DF says it will be a good learning curve for these new players, and hopefully we see a bounce back performance on Wednesday against QPR

good to see Naismith come back and do fuck all once again

Couldn't believe it when I got to the ground and saw that Naismith ( loser) was playing, that bloke is utter overhyped pants. The three subs should have been on from the start plus pinto. farke got it wrong and yes I know hes learning but the fans will let him know their opinions if it carries on. it wasn't good.

That's not at all good - plus all the rubbed in salt aint nice either

2 games in and 5 points behind the leaders already, one of whom is that mob down the road. Pne game to go before the league starts stretching and catching up takes longer and a mid-week game albeit at home - we need the three points Weds.

Today reminded me of "crab football" under Worthington when we had Carl Robinson in central midfield - sideways - backwards - sideways - backwards with no FAST penetration in the last third of the pitch.

Only German tier 4 play is Zimmermann - the others come from their equivalent of tier 2 = our Championship.

One sheet needs to vary his play

Do we need a strong enforcer alongside Reed and Maddison?

We need pace and gumption upfront.

We need a strong leader of the "Big Dunc" / John Newsome type - our heads dropped as soon as Sunderland scored their first goal

Watkins easily knocked off the ball

What did Naismith do?

Did windmill (Martin) stop Jerome from scoring at the River End - I am trying to make up my mind on that.

Anything else?

Farke should have played....

Pinto instead of shitty loser Martin
Wes instead of effing lazy Naismith
Nelson instead of crap loser Jerome

We have lost the first goal in all 3 games . Please learn quickly mr F that those 3 losers will do you or us no good at all .

What I ask myself is the point of keeping making the same same mistake , and waiting until we are losing before bringing on the players that we should have started with ?

I know we have to get used to the style but we just played in front of Sunderland which made it easier. Naismith doesn't fit and doesn't do enough. Back 3 were crap, totally bosses and need to toughen up. We looked weak

Cannot say im too worried about things currently, good posession and creating chances. However PLEASE sort the defence out, i would love us to spend some good money on a quality established defender.

Sadly there were no chances.
After 30 basic passes it usually ended up on left with Husband.
I said to chap next to me thats ok if it is ending up with a Huckerby
and not a Husband.

Clear evidence that more recruits are required . Essential on any transfer list should be a commanding central defender and a highly mobile fast attacker ( and please , dont try and tell Jerome is fast ! )
