A boyhood idol of mine and music genious.
Died on Sunday aged just 69.
There will never be another like him again.

A true music legend in my eyes. My brother text me early this morning to tell me and it brought tears to my eyes. So glad I got the opportunity to visit the exhibition about him at the V&A a couple of years ago.You are right DG. There will never be another like him again. RIP David Bowie.

It was a shock to me - he's one of those that you think is immortal - and to go so early, a real shame RIP David (Jones) Bowie.

Another part of my youth gone.

He made some very good music, reinventing himself several times. I would expect his music will still sound good in another 30/40 years.

Sadly beaten by cancer and the type which took our mother only 2 months ago.
One day there will be a cure but it can't come quickly enough.
