I am on holiday on the good ship Lollipop under the guidance of Captain Haddock and his merry band of cutthroats so will miss Chelsea away and Arsenil at home . Now ,I am the lucky one as I don't go games against plastic sides like that

one good thing about not having a holiday ( although we would have gone in close season anyway ) is that I get to into my 7 th season of not missing a home game.

Is there all day parking around the pub area?

Castle Mall Car Park Two is just around the corner. Not cheap but safe.

It has a been incredibly intense couple of weeks, with more to come next week when I am back in Norfolk for another difficult few days. The fixtures crept up on me this morning, although I knew they were out. Spent some time this evening going through diary dates etc. I checked out Midlands fixtures and they all fall Jan to March next year. Whose bright idea was it to arrange Stoke away at 7.45 on 13th Jan? Work will well and truly rule that one out.

At the moment I have no idea how my season will pan out. I am hoping my mum's house will be sold by Jan at latest but who knows. I will miss first game of season ( first game of season missed for a few years)as will be on a much needed holiday in Spain. I am hoping to make Stoke home on 22 Aug, possibly Bournemouth home on 12 Sept.

Steve. I am also aiming for Sat 24 Oct West Brom home.

Last season I managed 18 matches including Wembley (at last count I think it was 12 home 5 away and Wembley). I think I may struggle to match that next season but I will do as many as I possibly can. There is always a Premier Inn or a Travelodge!!

Sminky....hope all goes as well as it can under such circumstances.Cant be much fun at the moment .

I also went to 18 games last season ( 8 at home , 10 away) but will be different this season depending where I am living . From Norwich , Stoke away on a Tuesday night doesn't seem so attractive

Steve ....we will be at WBA at home ....not much chance of making it to the pub for breakfast though !

indeed. we now await the real fixture list to be released.
cannot see why us at home to wba would be of any interest to sky !

The Wigan match was for some reason!! I hope Sky are now bored with the Norwich and Aston Villa fixtures, though I don't mind if they show the home match after Christmas on 28th as will definitely not be in Norfolk for that one.

I think the club gets so many games of money ( 10 ? ) regardless of if we are on less than that but if you are on more there is an additional amount per game.
we are likely to be less and they just love the boring games between buy success clubs so they try to use up part of our 10 games against
other bottom half teams. That way they get to keep the games involving buy success clubs against each other.

Its on - yours truly and hopefully Mrs S will be in Norwich for the West Brom game, sky permitting as I have no chance on the other days due to birthday and wedding!!!!!

Not only that, brother has decided that he is kidnapping us on a forced holiday which meant we had to change dates and now Swansea is on also!!!!! Can even do Sunday, but not Monday as we're flying out.
