Harris Left Fuming After Norwich Defeat

Harris Left Fuming After Norwich Defeat

Millwall Manager, Neil Harrris was furious at his side`s second half performance as they let a half time lead slip at Carrow Road on New Year`s Day.

Ex-Canary, Steve Morison scored a worldie on the stroke of half time after a first half that had seen Norwich dominate but fail to score. They got the result though with a second half turn around with goals from Tom Trybull and James Maddison.

"I am fuming, raging with my players. To weather the storm after the first 20 minutes, to deny a really good football team so few opportunities inside 20-yards of our goal, then get our noses in front with a brilliant strike at half-time, the job`s half done, Harris told London news

"The second-half performance was a disgrace from my players, I won`t butter it up any other way."

Harris continued: "I have left the players in no uncertain terms what my thoughts are to that second-half. Anybody that thinks that Millwall had a good Christmas period then that`s good enough, is wrong, while I am in charge."

"The first goal was abysmal by us. To concede a free header from a free-kick like it was in that position, is not acceptable. Norwich`s play is based around lovely football, playing between the lines and get tap-ins from six yards out. You give a goal away against Norwich from a set play then you have got big problems.

"My players have been brilliant for me over the course of this season and over the course of the last few games. Absolutely outstanding, but I won`t let players drop their standards and that`s what they did second-half."

Harris seems to have summed up our recent style of play nicely there.

He`s not happy though, is he?!
