Norwich v Burton - Team News

There`s good news on the injury front ahead of the home game against Burton Albion on Tuesday night, with Daniel Farke revealing that he has no fresh injury worries.

"All the guys are fit. They took some hits against Birmingham but nothing too serious or special. All of the guys have been able to train, so I have a good choice again," Farke told Canaries.co.uk

In terms of what we can expect from his team selection, I don`t think we`ll see Alex Tettey again so soon after his heroics against Birmingham. That was a good reminder of his destructive capabilities but his dodgy knees are well documented and he`ll need a rest. Farke has suggested that he will see how he is, having not played much football lately but a rest here and then being available for the trip to Sheffield United on Saturday might make more sense.

I do think that we will see Tom Trybull again though. He also had a very good game in the defensive midfield role and has that extra bit of class and technical ability on the ball that are missing from Tettey`s locker. That, coupled with his appearance in front of the media at Colney (always a giveaway) almost guarantees him a starting place.

Wes Hoolahan is also back in contention after warming the bench on Saturday. Farke confirmed that Wes had a little groin strain while away on international duty with Ireland and he wanted to make sure he was right.

Burton will be a different proposition to Birmingham and coming off the back of a 5-0 drubbing at Leeds on Saturday, Nigel Clough will demand a reaction. It seems likely that the Brewers will want to avoid another heavy defeat, so they may well sit back and make it hard for us.

To that end, a change of formation might make sense with no real need for two defensive midfielders at home and against a team that, at least on paper, should pose less of an offensive threat.

We may well see a return to 4-1-4-1 and a return for Wesley Hoolahan as the director of attacks. His guile may well be needed if Burton decide to sit back and hold what they`ve got. As ever, the first goal will be important.
