Pre-Season Fixtures Announced

Norwich City have today announced five pre-season friendly matches ahead of the 2017/18 season.

The friendlies will kick off on July 8th at Lowestoft Town, a replacement match for last year's Micky Chapman Testimonial match that was rained off on the night of the original fixture after a torrential downpour water logged the pitch.

City then travel to Stevenage on July 11th before another fairly local tie at Cambridge on Saturday July 15th. On 25th July, the Canaries will travel to Charlton before rounding things off with a home tie against newly promoted Brighton & Hove Albion.

That match in particular will give both sides a good idea of how their squads have improved and how ready they both are for the forthcoming season.

The gap between the Cambridge game and then the Charlton trip would look to be the time when City will fit in a pre-season tour somewhere, with details to follow, according to the club.

Norwich City`s 2017/18 pre-season fixture schedule:

Saturday, July 8 - Lowestoft Town (A) - 3pm

Tuesday, July 11 - Stevenage (A) - 7:45pm

Saturday, July 15 - Cambridge United (A) - 2pm

Tuesday, July 25 - Charlton Athletic (A) - 7:45pm

Saturday, July 29 - Brighton & Hove Albion (H) - 3pm

The League fixtures for the new 2017/18 campaign will be released on Wednesday June 21.
