Match Day Officials v Fulham (14/4/17)

The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Fulham this Friday.

Norwich City host Fulham on Friday April 14 for the game at Carrow Road and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Andrew Madley
Linesmen: Adam Crysell and Robert Hyde
Fourth Official: Darren Blunden

Match Day referee Madley has officiated 38 games so far this season, showing 128 yellows cards and six red cards.

His highest card count this season was eight yellow cards in the game between Brighton and Nottingham Forest.

He took in 40 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 118 yellow cards and three red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Brentford and Reading on August 29 with a total of eight yellows being shown. He also showed eight yellows in the game between Rochdale and Oldham on October 24.

After an injury playing at Huddersfield Town academy Madley took up the whistle in 2002 at the age of 18. His early career saw him appointed as the assistant referee for the League 1 Play-Off final between Millwall and Swindon Town in 2010. He also ran the line on the Premier League before becoming an EFL referee in 2011. He has twice refereed at Wembley, taking charge of the FA Vase Final in 2015 followed shortly afterwards by refereeing the League 1 Play-Off final between Preston North End and Swindon Town.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
