Bennett extends contract

Defender Ryan Bennett has inked his name to a contract tying him to Norwich for a further three years.

Bennett who has 48 appearances for the Yellows seems delighted to have the opportunity to give his family some certainty:

'Signing is something I was looking to do and I couldn`t be happier to do it,' he told Canaries.co.uk.

It would appear that Adams has Bennett firmly in mind as a key player for this season and this action must give the player a sense that he'll be first pick throughout the campaign.

Rumours are whirling that Wes Hoolahan has also been offered a contract extension..I know he's not everyone's cup of tea - but he is mine - so I hope it's true and I hope he does commit to the club.

Either way - good luck to both of them

Glad he has signed on. And the news about Wes would be great if true. Adams has done well in pulling people together after the drop.
