Lafferty Confirms Palermo Exit

Kyle Lafferty has confirmed that he is leaving Palermo amid speculation that he will soon sign for Norwich City.

The 26 year old striker is believed to have undergone a medical for Norwich yesterday and has taken to his Facebook page today to explain.
He has posted the following:

"I`m sorry. Goodbye Palermo, thanks."

He replied to one post from a Palermo fan as follows:
"I like Palermo and it was nice to play here, but Palermo has decided to sell me and I respect their decision."

"I hope the club can spend the money buying good players and staying long in Serie A. This is a league that belongs to Palermo."

Although he doesn`t mention City, the speculation in the Italian press is such that this looks to be a goer.

I'm not sure he can be classed as a striker with a rate of 1 in 4 across many lower leagues, however he will be a target man that is more mobile than Elmander. He's not for me, but lets be realistic, we won't get Aguero and we will now have 6 main strikers!
