Pre-Season Plans Announced

Pre-Season Plans Announced

Norwich City have announced the club's plans for pre-season and it includes a nine day mini tour of Italy.

All the details can be found at canaries.co.uk, including pricing for the Carrow Road friendlies.

The full schedule is as follows:

July 2-6 - Training at St George's Park (no public access)
July 12 - v Dereham Town (3pm, Aldiss Park)
July 15 - v Braintree Town (7.45pm, Amlin Stadium)
July 18 - Travel to Italy
July 20 - v Novara (Kick-off TBC, Stadio Comunale Silvio Piola)*
July 23 - v Sampdoria (Kick-off TBC, Chatillon/Saint Vincent - training venue)*
July 25 - v TBC*
July 26 - Travel to England
July 28 - v OGC Nice (7.45pm, Carrow Road)
August 1 - v Celta Vigo (7.45pm, Carrow Road)
August 9 - Sky Bet Championship season starts

Another date for your diary is June 18 when the Championship fixtures will published at 9am.

Clearly the pick of the warm up games will be the game against Sampdoria, where Roberto Mancini and Gianluca Vialli formed such a deadly partnership in the late eighties.

At home, I quite like the look of the Celta Vigo friendly which takes place just one week before the season opener on 9th August.
