'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Keane Will Take Hoolahan To Villa

Roy Keane will join Aston Villa as Paul Lambert's assistant before the pair make Wes Hoolahan their number one priority - so says The Daily Star On Sunday.

Keane is currently on a tour of the USA with the Republic Of Ireland but the paper reckons he will be announced later this week as Lambert's assistant, after pulling out of ITV's World Cup team. It should also be pointed out though that The Irish Mirror today have an interview with Anthony Pilkington in which the City winger states he's glad that Keane is staying with Ireland after knocking back the Celtic job.

Anyway, back to the original story and The Star say that Villa's pursuit of Wes Hoolahan will then be stepped up. However, should City refuse to do business with Lambert then Leicester are 'ready with a 2m bid.'

You've got to love the English press for that sort of nonsense. Leicester may well be interested but I'll eat my hat if they are willing to pay 2m. If they are then I expect we will see Nigel Pearson with one arm in a sling after David McNally has snapped his hand off!

There may be ahint of truth, but the chaos atAvfc does not make this club an attraction For progress. Put bluntly its a complete Shambles. As long as this trio of idiots remain.

Sorry about Flo Vital Norwich readers. He just copies and pastes the same comment on every ******** article. Didn't realise that he was bothering other fans aswell!!! Sure you don't wish to hear him moan about exactly the same thing every ******** article, regardless of what it's about but his singlemindedness knows no bounds

your views are welcome 444. we have been a shambles over past 2 seasons too and if we had doubled you instead of visa versa you would have gone down so I understand your views.

All the red tops are doing at the moment is killing time beore Thursday. Re the Villa if Lerner does not sell the it is going to be another bleak season. On the Plus side we have Okore to come back for August and Benteke for November. COTVABU

Just get so fed up with the constant negativity from you and a couple of others Flo. I agree with some of what you're saying but there's no need to hijack EVERY article with roughly the same post. Now you're moaning to other sets of fans. There must be light at the end of the tunnel somewhere and although the football has been shocking at times, we're still in the Prem as DRAYTON points out and things could be worse (if only slightly worse.) Sun is shining and the world cup is days away. Great for any football fan.
