New Norwich City striker, Lewis Grabban has been talking about his move and how the speed and decisive nature of negotiations impressed him.
"It`s good to start a new chapter and kick on again with Norwich, and hopefully get promotion," said Grabban, who scored 22 goals at Dean Court in his first full season at Championship level.
"It was the swiftness of how they moved - very quickly they put the bid in and then we came here to talk, and we were able to agree terms.
"I already knew a lot about the club so it wasn`t a hard decision. The medical is a long process but I was happy to get it sorted out.
"Hopefully I can put in good performances, work hard first and foremost, and then get the goals as well. So we will see how it goes."
Grabban hopes that having just left the Premier League, meh can be the man to help them get back there as quickly as possible.
"I thinking the last three years I`ve been able to get a bigger opportunity than I have had before in my career," he said. "I`ve been able to play more regularly and kick on in terms of my goals and performances.
"Obviously the main goal for most footballers that haven`t played in the Premier League (is the Premier League). It`s also one of the main reasons I came here because they`ve just gone down and hopefully they can keep their best players and go straight back up.
"So getting into the Premier League is definitely the aim. I`ve spoken to Neil and we`ve had quite lengthy talks. His ambitions matched mine and I think it will be a good suit, so that`s why it was able to move so quickly.
"I`ve played here before and the atmosphere has been great, the fans are great, so it`s exciting to be part of the club now and hopefully do well for them."
The signing of Grabban is a statement of intent that City mean business and will spend to achieve their aim of getting promotion at the first time of asking. There is no doubt that Lewis will strengthen the squad and the only question now is who else will join him over the summer.
