It's a busy night here at Vital Norwich Towers - first of all we had the news of new coaching staff and then The Daily Mail reckoning that Gary Hooper wants to leave with the situation being monitored by Aston Villa and QPR.
Anyway, here's a little good news story that might perk you up a bit.
It's only a snippet, a little taster, but Sky Sports' Simon Thomas who as you may know, is a Norwich City fan has tweeted a short time ago that he understands that City will soon bid for Blackburn Rovers' Jordan Rhodes.
Rhodes is a striker of some repute. His goal scoring record can only be described as 'prolific.'
He first started making noises at Huddersfield in League One where he scored 73 goals in 124 games before making an £8m move to Blackburn in 2012.
Since moving to Rovers he has scored 51 goals in 89 appearances at Championship level which also brought him to Gordon Strachan's attention as Scotland boss. He has played 8 times for Scotland and scored 8 goals.
Make no mistake, if Hooper leaves (and even if he doesn't), Jordan Rhodes would be a very good signing indeed.
