Leroy Fer Out For Six Weeks?

News tonight on Goal.com suggests that Leroy Fer suffered a hamstring injury in training on Thursday that could keep the Dutch midfielder out for 6-10 weeks.

At time of writing there is no confirmation anywhere official, so I'm hoping that this isn't factual.

The story talks about an MRI scan happening on Friday to determine the extent of the injury - if true it will be a hammer blow to our hopes of avoiding the drop.

Fingers crossed...

Looks like J Howson may have recovered just in time....sigh. With all the criticism about C Hughton...he has had a rough trot with injuries.
