Holt To Villa?

Holt To Villa?

The Daily Mirror are carrying a story that suggests that Paul Lambert wants to take Ex-City Captain and legend, Grant Holt to Villa Park in a loan deal until the end of the season.

Holt has struggled for fitness and form since joining Wigan last summer and has scored just 2 goals in that time. There has been plenty of talk among Canary fans that we would`ve been better off keeping Holt rather than loaning in Johan Elmander, although Holty has missed a large chunk of the season through injury niggles - something he never really suffered with too much at Norwich.

I have to say that the very idea of this leaves a bad taste in the mouth but you can understand the logic, what with Libor Kozak having broken his leg and Benteke scoring only his second goal since September, last night against Arsenal.

Villa need a front man and Holt is reportedly heading to Villa Park today for a medical.

I read a great tweet last night that suggested that Paul Lambert`s transfer strategy was based around reassembling the League One title winning side and did anyone have Michael Nelson`s telephone number?

What do we think of this then?

How can anybody old enough to call league 2, division 4 make a ' my dads bigger than yours ' schoolboy comment. The fact is that this is a Norwich City forum and bearing in mind we have been suffering garbage for 18 months under Hughton we can blame Jumpship for our current predicament. As such I am fully entitled to go on a Norwich forum and hope Viller get relegated and manger sacked as that is what I would like. To go onto another clubs forum and make a pathetic comment about that club deserving to be in a league where they have never been in their history is pathetic. Why don't you stay on your own site and whinge about Lambert and take the ***** out of Holty like all the other viller fans.
