City Interested In Heitinga?

Everton's Dutch International centre back, Johnny Heitinga is reportedly interesting Norwich City, along with West Ham and Fulham, according to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.

The 30 year old has only made two appearances for Everton this season and seems likely to leave in January in a quest for first team football, as he looks to cement his place in the Dutch squad ahead of this summer's World Cup.

Heitinga has also attracted interest from Fiorentina and Real Betis but the player is understood to be settled in England which seems likely to give premier League teams an advantage in the chase for his signature.

Norwich City are in need of a quality centre back and Heitinga fits the bill nicely. He is likely to be available for a reasonable fee and has plenty of pedigree at the highest level.

A product of the Ajax youth academy, Heitinga played for their first team between 2001-2008. He spent a year at Atletico Madrid before moving to Everton in 2009, where he has made 114 appearances and scored 2 goals.

He has represented his country at every level and made 87 appearances for the senior team, scoring 7 goals. He has also played at the 2006 and 2010 World Cup tournaments and played in the 2010 World Cup Final (although he was sent off in the 109th minute for a second yellow card).

Seems to tick every box, in my opinion. Get him in Hoots!

Doesn't matter who we sign. If these players by our current management can't be enthused, inspired and coached properly we will still be relegated.
