It's long been an annoying feature of matches in the top league for as long as I can remember, particularly when you play a 'big' side - away fans in home areas.
Well, now the Chief Exec, David McNally wants us to help the club stop it.
He has used his twitter account to issue the following request to City fans if they see away fans jumping up and down in the home stands.
He said on Twitter: "Let us know if away fans are seated in home areas by giving seat number to customer services. Don`t like it and would like to stop it."
There's nothing worse than someone jumping up and down in celebration in front of the City faithful if things aren't going our way. Nobody would mind if they just sat on their hands, but they don't.
I myself went to Anfield in 1988 when Andy Townsend scored the goal that beat Liverpool one nil and put us top of the league at christmas. I went with Liverpool supporting mates and we stood on the Kop.
Realising that there were 25,000 odd scousers standing around me made me just smile quietly to myself as we scored and then won the game - for fear of getting my head kicked in!
Anyway, I sit in the upper tier of the River End as it is a family area and I have my 7yr old lad with me. During the 2-2 draw with Everton there was a right old rumpus up there with loads of stewards and about five coppers (admittedly they were Specials and about 18 years old) but the point being that there were Everton fans there who just couldn't keep quiet. No-one would mind if you just kept it to yourselves, would they?
So, if it happens, you know what to do. David has spoken.
