Drury testimonial tickets on general sale

Tickets for Adam Drury's testimonial game are now on general sale.

The Canaries will honour current longest-serving player Drury against Celtic at Carrow Road on Tuesday 22nd May (7.45pm).

Tickets are priced at £15 each for adults, and £5 each for under-16s. For more information, head over to adamdrurytestimonial.co.uk.

Drury began his career with Peterborough United in 1995 and made over 150 league and cup appearances for Posh before signing for the Canaries for £500,000 in March 2001.

During his time with Peterborough Barry Fry labelled him the 'best left back outside the Premiership', making Drury the 147th person to be labelled such by the many-time Posh manager.

He was voted Norwich City Player of the Year in 2002/03 and was Nigel Worthington's captain in the Championship winning team of 2003/04, lifting the trophy in front of an estimated crowd of 50,000 on the balcony of City Hall.

Drury suffered a lack of form in the Premiership season of 2004/05 which some blamed on the added pressure of captaincy, but has been a key member of the City squad in the years that have followed.

He signed a new four-year contract in May 2007, and made 39 appearances for the Canaries in the League One title winning season of 2009/10.

In December 2010 he signed a contract extension, tying him to the club until June 2012.

Drury made 22 appearances in all competitions for the last season, and has turned out 16 times for the first time in the current campaign.
