City safe as Chelsea batter QPR

Norwich City's Premier League status was confirmed for another season this afternoon following QPR's capitulation against Chelsea.

The Canary's 43 points looked likely to be more than enough heading into this weekend's games, but the R's 6-1 defeat against their West London rivals means Mark Hughes' side can only reach 40 points.

Blackburn have a game in hand, but they too can only reach a maximum of 40 points.

Wigan, Bolton and Aston Villa could equal City's total, but it looks as though the lowest position Paul Lambert's men can finish is 14th in what has been a truly remarkable season.

Not surprised, you've played some good stuff this season. See you next season, and I'm not just saying that because we tonked you twice! ;)

14th, I will be very happy with that, and then it'll be a new team next year
Savvy_Monkey
we need at least 6 players next season. And defence has to be a priority.
