RMart should get the CB start

In our most recent site poll we asked who you thought should partner Leon Barnett in the centre of defence if everyone was fit.

Russell Martin came out miles in front with 73% of the vote to finish ahead of Zak Whitbread (15%), Elliott Ward, Daniel Ayala and Ritchie de Laet (all 4%).

Last season's Vital Norwich Player of the Year started the season the way he had finished the last - charging up and down the field at right back - but injuries to Zak Whitbread, Daniel Ayala and Elliott Ward and Ritchie de Laet's drop in form forced boss Paul Lambert into a defensive rethink.

The former Peterborough man hasn't looked back since and looks set to keep his place in the starting eleven even once al around him return to match fitness.

Who should partner Leon Barnett if everyone is fit?

Russell Martin 73%
Zak Whitbread 15%
Elliott Ward 4%
Daniel Ayala 4%
Ritchie de Laet 4%
