Marc Tierney has been named Vital Norwich Player of the Month for September.
The former Colchester defender, 26, picked up 40% of the vote to see off Bradley Johnson (15%), John Ruddy (12%) and Wes Hoolahan (10%).
Tierney joined the Canaries in January for an undisclosed fee. He was signed initially to replace the homesick Steven Smith, but another injury to Adam Drury gave him his chance in the first team at the end of the month and he hasn't really looked back since.
He is Paul Lambert's only ever-present in the Premier League this season, making seven appearances, and looks set to keep his place in the starting line-up for some time to come.
