Season ticket record broken again

Season ticket record broken again

A record number of season ticket holders will watch Premier League football at Carrow Road next season, it was announced yesterday.

21,833 season tickets have been sold for the 2011/12 campaign - 820 more than the previous record set last year - and is a huge boost at a time when other newly-promoted clubs are announcing rises of 40% for season tickets.

Season ticket sales have now been capped but with 10% of the Carrow Road capacity (2,700) required to be made available for away supporters under Premier League rules it means that less than 2,000 casual tickets are likely to be available per match by the time segregation is taken into account.

All that means that the only real chance of getting a ticket for a home game next season is by joining the 4,600 supporters who have purchased 'super memberships' at £20 per pop.

The club also confirmed that they were looking into the possibility of creating some additional seating at Carrow Road this summer, with the area in front of the hotel between the Barclay and Jarrold Stands the most obvious location.

If you are interested in becoming a super member, or would like to join the season ticket waiting list, contact the club ticket office on 0844 826 1902.
