Form Guide: Barnsley v Norwich City

Vital Norwich looks at the recent form of the Canaries and the Tykes ahead of Saturday's meeting at Oakwell.

The Tykes are currently 14th in the Championship with 42 points from their 33 games.

Their last win came against Preston at Oakwell on 1st February, Garry O'Connor and Danny Haynes (yes *that* Danny Haynes) grabbing the goals in a 2-0 victory.

Last time out at home they drew 1-1 with Ipswich, and in midweek held Leeds to a 3-3 draw at Elland Road.

In total at home this season they have so far won eight, drawn five and lost three Championship matches.

They are 15th in the form table with nine points from their last eight games: DLDLWLWD

Norwich City
The Canaries are 5th in the Championship table with 56 points from 33 games, three points off the automatic promotion places and five points clear of seventh-placed Leicester.

Their last win came via a 3-1 victory at home to Reading on 12th February.

Last time out they were held to a 1-1 draw against struggling Doncaster Rovers at Carrow Road thanks to an own goal by long-serving defender Adam Drury.

In their last away game they picked up a point in a thrilling 2-2 draw with fellow promotion chasers Leeds United.

City have picked up thirteen points from their last eight games and are currently ninth in the Championship form table.

So far this season away from home they have won six, drawn seven and lost three.
