Arsenal youngster Henri Lansbury is expected to go straight back into the starting line-up against Crystal Palace this afternoon (3pm).

Lansbury completed his loan move from North London earlier in the week and will likely replace Simeon Jackson at Selhurst Park.

Elliott Ward is back in contention but may have to settle for a place on the bench due to the form of Leon Barnett and Zak Whitbread not to mention Michael Nelson, fresh from his decision to retire from international football yesterday.

Andrew Surman is back in full training, but at his pre-match press conference yesterday City boss Paul Lambert said that today's game will come too soon for the former Wolves winger.

Goalkeeper Julian Speroni is set to make his 200th appearance for Palace, who also have striker James Vaughan available after rejoining on loan from Everton.
