Oli Johnson joins Yeovil

City striker Oli Johnson has joined Yeovil Town on a month's loan.

Johnson is yet to start a first team game for the club this season and has previously been linked with a temporary switch to Brighton, Sheffield Wednesday, Rochdale and Hartlepool.

The 23-year-old signed from Stockport last January, and has made a total of 23 appearances for the Canaries but only 4 as a starter. This season he has come off the bench six times.

He is currently behind Grant Holt, Chris Martin, Simeon Jackson and Aaron Wilbraham in the Carrow Road pecking order, and should benefit hugely from regular first team football.

He needs to be playing first team football. He did well for us in League 1 and I'm sure he'll score a few for Yeovil. Can see him leaving in the summer though.
