Two former Norwich City strikers have been linked with moves away from their Premier League clubs.
Manchester City's Ched Evans is reported to be a target for Stoke City and newly-promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers, and former record signing Dean Ashton is rumoured to be heading towards the exit door at West Ham.
Evan's departure makes the most sense, and a fee of around £2m would seem logical for the man who scored 10 goals whilst on loan at Carrow Road in the 2007/08 season but has struggled to hold down a regular first team place at Eastlands.
Not a transfer window has gone by without Ashton being linked for a move away from Upton Park since he joined the Hammers for £7m three and a half years ago.
The Canaries stand to pocket 15% of any profit West Ham make on Ashton, but after injury has limited his Hammers career to only 50-odd appearances the chances of that happening any time soon are surely slim.
