Spurs' attempts to trim their squad could provide another option or two for Championship clubs like us.
Goalkeeper Ben Alnwick, defenders Lee Young Pyo, Paul Stalteri and Ricardo Rocha as well as midfielders Kevin Prince Boateng, Hossam Ghaly and Adel Taarabt are among those thought to be heading for the exit at White Hart Lane according to Vital Tottenham, along with striker Tomas Pekhart.
Pekhart is a 19-year old Czech striker who has scored six goals in seven appearances for the under 21s and is thought to have already caught the attention of Southampton and Plymouth Argyle, who both reportedly want the 6ft 2in man on loan.
He looks absolutely tailor-made for a year of polishing in the Championship, but if think not then Spurs also have another forward who wants away, Dimitar Berbatov.
The Bulgarian wants away and has been strongly, very strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, but I am sure if he had the tour of Colney and tried one of Delia's pasties we could persuade him to head east rather than up north.
And let's be honest, as he's the same price as that bloke from Newcastle whose name escapes me right now, he'd be perfect…what's that…he's up for £25m not £2.5m you say? Ok well we`ll leave him for now then - unless somebody wants to get on the phone to Cullum?
